Tender Governance & Commercial Analyst

About the role

Bilfinger is seeking a highly organized and analytical professional to support its Sales organisation through effective tender governance, commercial reporting and data‑driven decision making. The role is critical for improving tender quality, strengthening management visibility and ensuring disciplined execution of the sales process across the Asset Performance business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the tender governance calendar, coordinate governance meetings and ensure all governance packs are complete, accurate and version‑controlled.
• Record meeting minutes, decisions and actions, manage action trackers and proactively escalate overdue items.
• Act as the focal point for Salesforce data quality, develop weekly/monthly/quarterly sales performance dashboards and analyse pipeline health, forecast accuracy and order intake.
• Prepare concise reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting tender activities, commercial risks and sales performance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to strengthen governance effectiveness while reducing administrative burden.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commercially aware, proactive and solution‑oriented with high integrity when handling sensitive information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• Experience in tender governance, bid management, sales operations or business analytics within engineering, industrial services or energy sectors.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Salesforce, Power BI and Microsoft Copilot.
• Knowledge of Python, automation or data visualisation tools (advantageous).
