Tender Specialist, Global Projects & Industry Solutions

About the role

DSV, a global transport and logistics company, is hiring a Tender Specialist for its Global Projects and Industry Solutions division (Air & Sea) in Abu Dhabi. The role manages the end-to-end tendering process, prepares competitive and commercially viable pricing proposals, and ensures timely submission of accurate bids and quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end tendering processes, including RFQs, RFPs and bid submissions, and coordinate the preparation and submission of tender documents within deadlines.
• Identify, review and evaluate tender opportunities, and check requirements, technical specifications, commercial terms and contractual conditions against customer needs and company policy.
• Prepare competitive quotations, cost estimates and pricing proposals, analysing costs, margins and profitability.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on pricing, clarifications and tender requirements, and gather information and approvals from stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate tender records, pricing databases and submission documentation, and monitor win/loss performance to improve pricing and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with internal approval processes, regulations and company policies, and perform other duties assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical, organisational and time-management skills.
• Negotiation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, risk assessment, teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP, CRM or tender management systems is an advantage.
