Test Manager

About the role

The Test Manager will lead testing initiatives for web services and API solutions within a multinational environment. Working in a hybrid model, the role focuses on delivering high‑quality releases through structured testing practices and close collaboration with development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and manage end‑to‑end testing activities for API and web service solutions.
• Create detailed test strategies, test plans and reusable test data sets based on service contracts and business rules.
• Execute manual and automated tests using REST API calls, validating functionality, performance and error handling.
• Develop and run SQL scripts for backend data verification to ensure service responses match expected data transformations.
• Review specifications, user stories and technical designs to identify testability gaps early.
• Coordinate defect triage, document defects clearly and track impact assessments.
• Monitor testing metrics such as defect density, execution progress and coverage, providing transparent status updates.
• Mentor test analysts on best practices and reusable testing patterns.

Required profile

• 9‑11 years of experience in API and web service testing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to design comprehensive test scenarios.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with architects, developers and release teams.
• Proven ability to lead testing efforts in a hybrid work environment.
