Testing Inspection & Certification (TIC) Technician

About the role

The Testing Inspection & Certification (TIC) Technician will carry out visual, Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) and Magnetic Rope Testing (MRT) inspections on Motive FZE and client equipment, including cranes and lifting wire ropes. Based in Sharjah, you will work on a variety of marine and lifting assets, ensuring safety and compliance while collaborating closely with clients and the Operations Department.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive visual inspections of equipment and wire ropes.
• Conduct NDT and MRT inspections according to established procedures.
• Inspect, test, and handle crane wire ropes safely.
• Commission, operate, and maintain spooling winches and related equipment.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to clients and internal teams.
• Adhere to all safety and operational standards during inspections and testing.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in equipment inspection, NDT, or rope testing.
• Ability to work on‑site in a marine or industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Effective communication skills for client and team interaction.
