Theoretical Knowledge Instructor

About the role

ADATC is seeking a qualified Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to deliver high‑quality aviation theory training, develop course materials and ensure compliance with GCAA and international regulations. The role supports the development of future aviation professionals through engaging classroom instruction and continuous curriculum improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver approved theoretical aviation and technical training courses in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Develop, update and maintain training materials, lesson plans, instructional aids and courseware.
• Conduct examinations, assessments and evaluations to measure student performance and competency.
• Monitor trainee progress and recommend remedial training where required.
• Maintain accurate training, attendance, examination and certification records.
• Support continuous improvement of training curriculum and coordinate training schedules with operational needs.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for technical training content and support internal and external audits.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1.1, B1.3 or B2).
• Methods of Instruction (MOI) Certificate.
• Training & Assessment Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience developing computer‑based training courseware and delivering technical instruction.
• Strong knowledge of theoretical aviation training requirements and local aviation regulations.
• Excellent instructional, presentation and facilitation skills in English.
