About the role
The employer is looking for a skilled Tooling Maintenance Technician who repairs, maintains and improves tooling equipment such as jigs, fixtures, moulds and CNC tools. The role keeps production processes efficient and output quality high.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and repair tooling, fixtures and CNC equipment
- Support new tooling for product introductions
- Diagnose tooling issues and implement repair solutions
- Operate machines such as lathes, milling machines and CNC
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Monitor tooling performance and report issues
- Train junior technicians and share knowledge
Required profile
- Strong experience in toolmaking; composite experience preferred
- Hands-on problem-solving skills
- Experience in production environments and tight deadlines
Required skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience with machining tools and equipment
