Trading Manager - Gaming

About the role

The Trading Manager – Gaming will own the gaming P&L for a fast‑growing B2B trading platform headquartered in Dubai. You will source, price, and sell consoles, games and accessories across the GCC and internationally, driving gross profit from month three onward.

Key responsibilities

• Source and manage a live book of suppliers and buyers for consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo), games, controllers, headsets and accessories.
• Run each offer through the portal flow: pipeline screening, evaluator scoring, counter‑offers (max three rounds), and PO approval.
• Decide stock holdings using Amazon bestseller data, seasonal trends, launch timing and end‑of‑life opportunities.
• Negotiate with both suppliers and buyers while keeping the platform anonymous.
• Use trading platforms (Handelot, Kadorf) for supply scanning, price discovery and prospecting.
• Coach a Junior Trading Manager on uploads, follow‑ups and buyer lists.
• Hit weekly KPIs: offers in, offers scored 60+, offers out, deals closed, gross profit and stock days.

Required profile

• 5+ years trading or buying gaming hardware and software at a distributor, wholesaler, large retailer or trading house.
• Proven track record of managing your own P&L and taking inventory risk.
• Deep knowledge of the gaming trade, including grey‑market dynamics, regional SKUs, warranty issues and Saudi demand.
• Based in the UAE or willing to relocate immediately.

Required skills

• Experience with trading platforms such as Handelot and Kadorf.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to maintain anonymity of counterparties.
