Trainee Cost Analyst – Project Cost Control

About the role

This trainee position offers hands‑on experience in Oracle Time & Labour administration and project cost control within Worley’s Abu Dhabi operations. The role is ideal for an energetic individual who can multitask, stay organised, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Oracle Time & Labour (OTL) module, including inductions and training for new staff.
• Prepare and submit weekly timecard status reports and enter timecards for users without system access.
• Process timecard change requests, reconcile regular and overtime timesheets, and advise on bookings during public holidays and Ramadan.
• Support the Project Controls team with cost‑control activities, such as project setup, maintenance, and cost performance analysis against the approved baseline.
• Analyse, forecast, and report project cost performance, and contribute to Worley Management and Knowledge System compliance and project reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance or Accounting (preferred).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; higher experience may be considered overqualified for a trainee role.
• Strong interest in numbers, data and project information, with good communication skills.
