Trainer - Technical and Soft Skills

About the role

Unified Microsystems is looking for a Trainer in Dubai to design, deliver and evaluate training programmes that build both technical and behavioural competencies among its employees. The role covers technical training as well as soft-skills training in communication, customer service, teamwork and professional effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Assess training needs in coordination with department heads.
• Design and update training materials, modules, manuals, presentations and practical exercises.
• Work with internal and external subject matter experts to develop and facilitate technical content.
• Create and maintain a training plan and schedule, and run onboarding and refresher sessions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback and performance observations, and recommend improvements.
• Track attendance, completion and competency development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in training, learning and development or a similar role.
• Proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating technical and soft-skills training.
• Hands-on experience in IT support, systems, tools or project-based environments; experience with SMEs and onboarding/refresher programmes is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and administration.
• Solid understanding of ITIL principles and service management concepts.
• Ability to design training materials and deliver classroom, virtual and hands-on sessions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and planning and time-management skills.
