Training Director – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Training Director – Food & Beverage will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of all learning initiatives across our hospitality venues. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that every team member meets the highest standards of service, safety and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive F&B training strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish training standards, SOPs and competency frameworks for all F&B roles.
• Lead, coach and manage a team of trainers and departmental training coordinators.
• Design, implement and monitor onboarding, refresher and leadership development programs.
• Ensure all staff are certified and compliant with food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Measure training effectiveness using KPIs, assessments and operational performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Quality Assurance and Brand teams to identify skill gaps and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in F&B training within multi‑unit or high‑end hospitality operations.
• Certified trainer or holder of a food safety certification (preferred).
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Deep knowledge of luxury service standards and F&B operational processes.

Required skills

• Food safety certification (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe).
