Training Officer - Ground Personnel (Aviation Security)

About the role

Emirates Group Security is hiring a Training Officer (Ground Personnel) in Dubai. The role delivers aviation security training to ground personnel within the Emirates Group and to external customers, so that trainees acquire the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and manage acts of unlawful interference. The training follows the Emirates Group values, regulatory requirements, international and national standards and industry best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, webinar and practical aviation security training to ground personnel and external customers.
• Support training specialists in designing and developing security training programmes in line with the NCASTP and other security requirements.
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with internal and external stakeholders and promote security culture and awareness.
• Monitor trainee performance, ensure on-time classroom attendance and give feedback as required.
• Communicate training and operational concerns to the training operations team and submit training reports and results so the Learning Management System is kept up to date.
• Recommend new training approaches and content improvements, and review course feedback against training needs analysis.
• Keep trainer qualifications up to date and pursue continuous professional development.

Required profile

• 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in aviation security, training and presenting to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of international and national aviation security regulations and requirements.
• Knowledge of training delivery methods and techniques.

Required skills

• Proficiency in communication and business writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
