Transformation Management Office Lead – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi is seeking a Transformation Management Office (TMO) Lead to drive a major strategic initiative. This 12‑month contract role will establish and run the TMO, ensuring governance, structured delivery, and successful implementation of key transformation priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and lead the Transformation Management Office, defining its mandate, governance framework and operating model.
• Track strategic initiatives, monitoring objectives, milestones, KPIs, risks and dependencies.
• Support the design and rollout of target operating models across the organization.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives and align stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Scope, incubate, or redesign functions, establishing mandates, structures, processes, governance and RACI models.
• Guarantee structured execution and delivery of all transformation programmes.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of experience in management consulting, transformation programmes or strategic initiatives, preferably at a Tier‑1 consulting firm.
• Demonstrated career progression with at least one promotion within the same firm.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience leading large‑scale transformation programmes, TMOs, enterprise‑wide implementations or post‑merger integrations.
• Proven ability to manage complex initiatives and senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with government entities or large organisations; GCC experience is a plus.
