Transportation Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Transportation Lead to join our Supply Chain team in the UAE. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless movement of high‑value products across the GCC, Middle East, North America and Europe, while maintaining cost efficiency, service quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with transport providers, freight forwarders and 3PL partners.
• Drive transport performance across cost, service, compliance, security and lead times.
• Lead transport tendering, vendor negotiations and contract management.
• Ensure secure transportation of luxury products, including anti‑theft protocols and shipment tracking.
• Oversee customs compliance, bonded movements, free‑zone requirements and cross‑border operations for GCC, ME, North America and Europe.
• Optimize routes, vehicle utilisation and delivery scheduling.
• Monitor transportation budgets, freight spend and operational costs.
• Provide performance reporting, KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Warehousing, Demand Planning, Customer Service and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5–7 years of transportation or logistics experience in the UAE/GCC.
• Valid driving licence (mandatory).
• Experience in FMCG, retail, warehousing or distribution.
• Strong geographical knowledge of GCC, ME, North America and Europe.
• Expertise in Dangerous Goods (DG) transportation regulations.
• Deep understanding of GCC customs regulations and cross‑border logistics.
• Experience handling regulated products across markets.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and vendor negotiation abilities.
