Transportation Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and organized Transportation Supervisor to manage daily transportation operations across the UAE. The role involves overseeing fleet performance, driver scheduling, route optimization, and vehicle maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and timely services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s fleet of vehicles, drivers, and related documentation.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor drivers’ daily assignments, routes and schedules.
• Assign and optimise driver routes based on operational priorities and delivery requirements.
• Review and revise transportation schedules to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain communication with drivers and management for operational needs and emergencies.
• Monitor driver logs, vehicle records, Salik accounts, RTA documentation and traffic fines.
• Track fuel consumption, mileage and prepare regular reports.
• Assess driver performance, identify training needs and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, obtain quotations and secure approvals for repairs.
• Assist in developing transportation policies, procedures and operational guidelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in transport supervision, fleet management or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of UAE traffic regulations, RTA requirements and Salik procedures.
• Experience in driver scheduling, route planning and vehicle maintenance coordination.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to handle urgent requests and work effectively under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for maintaining fleet records and preparing reports.
