UAE National Cadet Pilot Programme

About the role

Etihad is recruiting UAE Nationals for its Cadet Pilot Programme, a two-year training path to become a pilot on the airline's expanding fleet. Training takes place in the UAE and overseas, includes ground school, flight simulations and practical flying, and is supported by mentoring from experienced instructor pilots.

Required profile

• UAE National, aged 18-29, with a minimum height of 160cm
• High school diploma with an overall minimum grade of 80%, including Maths and Physics, or a higher education qualification (Bachelor's or Master's)
• IELTS 5.5 or EmSAT English 1250
• Completed or exempted from UAE National Service (males only)
• Passion for aviation, commitment to continuous learning, and strong command of written and spoken English

What we offer

• AED 5,000 monthly salary during the first two years of training
• After the License Skill Test: AED 16,667 plus variable allowances for six months
• After line training: AED 24,000 plus variable allowances, with four steps up to AED 34,000
• Senior First Officer position after obtaining the ATPL, at AED 39,853 per month
