U/G Stations E&M Inspector

About the role

Act as a PMC field inspector covering both electrical and mechanical works for metro station services, supporting Site Engineers to ensure design‑and‑build contractor activities comply with approved drawings, ITPs, codes and Employer’s Requirements across overground and underground stations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections on HVAC/ECS, TVS, fire protection (hydrant, sprinkler, detection), water supply & drainage, lifts & escalators, MV/LV distribution, lighting & UPS, earthing/lightning protection, and BMS/SCADA cabling and terminations.
• Record observations, raise NCRs, verify ITP/WIR compliance, monitor material deliveries, storage and handling, and maintain QA checklists and test records.
• Witness and support local testing, pressure tests, duct leakage, functional tests, FAT/SAT/IST and compile evidence for acceptance.
• Coordinate with civil works for access and penetrations, report interface issues and log them in ICD registers.
• Monitor HSSE on site, ensure compliance with NFPA 130 life‑safety features during installation.
• Prepare daily progress reports, photo logs, inspection reports, support measurements and bill verification, and maintain punch lists.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of E&M site inspection experience on metro projects, preferably in metro stations.
• Proven experience with QA/QC checklists and design‑build workflows.
• Ability to perform multidisciplinary E&M inspection, documentation, basic submittal review and coordination with contractors and PMC engineers.
