UI/UX Designer

About the role

A full-time UI/UX Designer position in Abu Dhabi within the Design & Development department. The designer creates intuitive, visually appealing and user-friendly digital experiences for web apps, mobile apps, dashboards, POS systems and kiosks, working closely with product managers, developers and stakeholders to turn business requirements into effective designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design interfaces for web platforms, mobile apps, dashboards, POS systems and kiosks
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts and developers on project requirements
• Run user research, usability testing and design evaluations
• Maintain design systems, UI components and style guidelines
• Ensure responsive designs across devices and screen sizes
• Improve existing apps based on user feedback and work with developers so designs are implemented accurately
• Keep branding, usability and visual identity consistent across products

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional UI/UX experience
• Experience designing web and mobile applications
• Ability to create interactive prototypes, wireframes and design systems
• Familiarity with dashboards, POS systems, kiosk interfaces or enterprise apps is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills, and ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines
• Professional portfolio of previous UI/UX projects required

Required skills

• Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
• User-centered design, responsive design and usability standards
• HTML, CSS and front-end concepts are an advantage
