Vehicle Inspector

About the role

Dubizzle’s Cars team is looking for a Vehicle Inspector to carry out detailed inspections of cars across all body types. You will evaluate mechanical, electrical, paint, and under‑body conditions, document findings with photographs, and produce comprehensive reports that support the platform’s vehicle listings.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, interior, electrical systems, air‑conditioners, tyres and ECU/sensors for functionality and performance.
• Assess paint condition, accidental damage and wear‑and‑tear, and verify the presence of all required parts and equipment.
• Conduct VIN investigations, review preventive maintenance records, and examine auction history or total‑loss claims.
• Take professional photographs of the vehicle and of any defects identified during inspection.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and review them against post‑inspection checkpoints before submission.

Required profile

• High school diploma or Mechanical Diploma with a valid UAE driving licence.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a vehicle inspector or in automotive mechanical/electrical work.
• Automotive certification (preferred) and expert‑level automobile knowledge of both old and latest models.

Required skills

• Proficiency with automotive inspection equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge for report generation.
• Photography skills for documenting vehicle condition.
• Mechanical and electrical expertise in automotive systems.
