Vice President Finance

About the role

The Vice President – Finance leads MAF Retail’s finance function, shaping strategic direction and overseeing the annual business plan to achieve corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in setting and reviewing MAF Retail’s overall strategy and translate it into financial objectives, business plans, and budgets.
• Assess finance function capabilities, ensuring technology, processes, and people resources align with strategic goals.
• Lead financial planning and budgeting across the company, aligning plans with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with department heads to set annual objectives, business plans, and budgets, and review them for alignment with the company’s financial position.
• Review and approve consolidated and individual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Provide input on corporate policies and monitor their implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance.
• 10+ years of finance experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• 5+ years of professional experience in the retail industry.
