Vice President – Finance

About the role

A leading UAE-based entity is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead and execute the organization's financial strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for budgeting, financial planning and reporting, treasury operations, compliance and risk management, in a regulated, high-compliance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and execution of long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Direct annual budgeting, long-term forecasting and financial performance reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage treasury operations, cash flow forecasting and investment strategies to optimize capital usage.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks including market, credit and operational risks.
• Implement robust financial systems and technologies for improved reporting and control.
• Build and lead a finance team through mentoring, training and succession planning.
• Drive cost efficiency, innovation and financial governance across all units, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 12-16 years of experience (with a Bachelor's) or 8-10 years (with a Master's) in financial management, accounting or related fields.
• Proven executive financial leadership experience, ideally in complex, regulated or government-linked organizations.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (a plus but not required).
