Video Editor & Producer for AI‑Powered Performance Ads

About the role

PetLab Co., a fast‑growing DTC pet supplement brand, is looking for an experienced Video Editor & Producer to create AI‑driven performance ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube. You will work closely with creative strategists, paid media, and influencer teams to produce high‑volume, conversion‑focused video ads.

Key responsibilities

• Performance video editing: edit short‑form ads, write hooks, add captions, sound design and export in multiple aspect ratios.
• Creative strategy & scripting: write direct‑response scripts, pitch concepts, develop storyboards and adapt winning scripts for testing.
• AI video production: generate AI video, avatars, voiceovers and B‑roll using tools such as Veo, Kling, Runway, HeyGen and ElevenLabs; build repeatable AI workflows.
• Iteration & testing: produce ad variations, conduct structured A/B tests, analyse performance metrics and refine creative assets.

Required profile

• 4+ years of video editing experience, including at least 2 years focused on paid social ads for DTC or e‑commerce brands.
• Proven track record of creating AI‑powered ads with measurable results (ROAS, CPA, scaled spend).
• Strong written and spoken English and ability to present ideas to a global team.

Required skills

• Expert use of Premiere Pro and/or CapCut; knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
• Daily workflow with AI video tools (Veo, Kling, Runway, HeyGen, Arcads, ElevenLabs).
• Understanding of performance metrics (Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS) and how editing impacts them.
