VIP IT Support Engineer

About the role

A recruitment partner is recruiting a VIP IT Support Engineer for a well-established organization in Dubai. The role provides dedicated, high-quality technology support to senior executives and business leaders, ensuring seamless day-to-day technology operations for senior leadership. It suits an IT professional who enjoys white-glove support in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dedicated IT support to executives, senior management and VIP users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, network and mobility issues.
• Support Windows and macOS devices, Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms.
• Administer user accounts, access permissions, MFA and identity management.
• Coordinate executive onboarding and offboarding of IT equipment and access.
• Support meeting rooms, video conferencing systems and executive events.
• Provision laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals; install, configure and maintain software and OS updates.
• Work with internal technical teams and third-party vendors on complex issues, and keep incident documentation.
• Handle service requests within agreed service levels.

Required profile

• 3-8 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, EUC or Executive/VIP support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS, and with iOS and Android devices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, printers, networking and peripherals.
• Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills, with discretion and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
• Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity management
• ServiceNow or another ITSM platform
• Preferred: ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, meeting room and AV equipment knowledge
