Virtual Sales Account Executive (Arabic Speaker - MEA)

About the role

Splunk is hiring a Virtual Sales Account Executive (Arabic speaker, Middle East and Africa) for its global virtual sales team. The role sells Splunk products, systems and services by telephone or electronic means, closing the sale and building a pipeline for the assigned territory. It is an individual contributor position, not an overlay to the field sales force, with its own quota and minimal business travel.

Key responsibilities

• Create pipeline for the territory using demand generation and prospecting tools
• Find new opportunities and build rapport with new clients and partners
• Identify opportunities in new accounts and buying centers, and work with Splunk partners on shared accounts
• Own the full sales cycle: discovery, presentation, negotiation and close
• Research and present business intelligence on customers and prospects
• Generate opportunities through professional networking and cold calling
• Travel occasionally for training and meetings
• Close deals under $50K where appropriate in conjunction with the RSD/RSM

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience selling and generating demand for enterprise IT solutions such as BI, data analytics, security software, risk management software or networking performance
• Demonstrated track record of achieving quota in pipeline generation and closed revenue
• Strong discovery and objection-handling skills, able to lead a full sales conversation
• Self-motivated, tenacious, confident and competitive, with a growth mindset and coachable attitude
