Vision Systems Architect

About the role

The Vision Systems Architect owns the end‑to‑end vision and AI architecture for consumer devices, shaping scalable, power‑efficient imaging and perception systems across product lines. This senior position drives technical direction across sensors, ISP, computer vision, machine learning, and platform integration.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the full vision system architecture (sensor → ISP → CV/ML → application layer) and translate product/UX requirements into technical solutions.
• Architect reusable, modular CV/ML frameworks, drive system‑level trade‑offs (performance, power, cost, thermal) and define AI model lifecycle from training to OTA deployment.
• Lead technology selection for inference engines, frameworks, and hardware platforms; guide SoC bring‑up and performance validation for vision pipelines.
• Establish coding standards, modularization strategy, KPIs (latency, FPS, power, memory, boot time, robustness) and mitigate technical risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field (PhD preferred).
• 10‑15+ years of experience in imaging, vision, or perception systems and proven track record of shipping consumer products with vision/AI.
• Strong cross‑functional leadership and communication skills.

Required skills

• Expert‑level C++ and system‑level optimization.
• Deep knowledge of imaging pipelines (sensor behavior, ISP, tuning).
• Embedded system architecture and heterogeneous compute (CPU, GPU, NPU, DSP).
• Computer vision and machine learning system integration, including optimized ML model deployment on consumer SoCs.
• Experience with AI model lifecycle management, OTA updates, and performance validation.
