VP Treasury and Insurance (Emiratisation Role)

About the role

Tadweer Group is looking for a VP Treasury and Insurance to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of treasury operations, funding, liquidity, cash management, banking, placements, guarantees and insurance across the Group and its subsidiaries. The role also covers insurance coverage, claims management and risk transfer, in line with corporate strategy, sustainability objectives and enterprise risk frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee group-wide liquidity, funding and placement operations, and set standards for cash forecasting, liquidity reporting, bank documentation, fund transfers, placement governance, claims management and insurance renewals.
• Manage intercompany funding, repatriation and capital allocations; monitor debt levels, investment yields and cash-flow forecasts; approve facility renewals, guarantees and credit arrangements.
• Ensure accuracy of banking documentation (ISDA agreements, facility letters, KYC records) and oversee liquidity, counterparty and credit risk exposures.
• Approve insurance programme models, renewals and cost proposals, and monitor brokers, underwriters and insurers.
• Review and resolve escalated claims, validate exposure data and policy documentation, and coordinate with Risk Management, Business Continuity and HSE teams.
• Implement and enforce treasury and insurance policies, SOPs and controls, and review audit outcomes to strengthen compliance and audit readiness.
• Direct automation and process standardisation in Treasury systems, and oversee bank account structures, signatory controls, payment workflows and cash visibility dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; a master's degree (e.g. MBA) preferred.
• Professional certifications such as ACT, CTP, CFA, CPA, CA or CII preferred.
