Waiter / Waitress

About the role

Alabbar Enterprises & ANOTHER, a UAE-based retail group that also owns several F&B concepts, is hiring a full-time on-site waiter or waitress in Dubai. The role covers taking food and beverage orders, suggestive selling, serving guests and making sure they are completely satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Making guests feel at home and taken care of throughout their experience
• Opening and closing the restaurant, and cleaning the restaurant and operational equipment
• Explaining daily specials and chef recommendations
• Taking orders, punching them into the POS system and communicating them to the kitchen
• Coordinating with kitchen staff so orders are prepared on time and accurately, and regularly updating customers on order status
• Serving food and drinks, liaising with bartenders and runners, and handling client complaints
• Clearing empty plates, glasses and condiments, re-stocking service areas and performing other duties assigned by supervisors

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred
• Able to perform repetitious duties and work in a high-pressure environment
• Dedicated to customer satisfaction and service excellence
