Waiter/ess – Mini Bar at Luxury Beach Resort

About the role

Join the award‑winning Talise Ottoman Spa resort as a Waiter/ess dedicated to the Mini Bar service. You will be part of a premium food‑and‑beverage team delivering Arabian luxury hospitality to discerning guests on Palm Jumeirah.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and explain seating arrangements.
• Present menu items, describe preparation methods, ingredients and address allergy or dietary queries.
• Promote daily specials and off‑menu promotions, ensuring guests are aware of all options.
• Verify guest identification for alcohol service in compliance with local regulations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting special requests and communicating them promptly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages using established standards and proper handling techniques.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in food & beverage service within a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel or premium dining environment.
• Strong knowledge of menu offerings, preparation methods and ability to upsell in line with brand standards.
• Proficient in guest service delivery, order taking, service execution and handling feedback.
• Ability to manage a designated service section and coordinate with kitchen and bar teams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in cashiering procedures and adherence to hygiene, safety and service protocols.
