Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Club Dining

About the role

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress to join its upscale dining team. You will be part of a prestigious private members’ club, delivering exceptional service to an international clientele in a sophisticated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run a station during allocated shifts, taking orders and serving food and beverages.
• Enter orders accurately into the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Promote sales, build relationships with members and guests, and gather direct feedback.
• Liaise with the kitchen on order details, stock levels, and special requests.
• Upsell cocktails, wine, sake and other beverages in coordination with Bar and Sommelier teams.
• Handle minor complaints professionally and courteously.
• Prepare and maintain all service equipment, ensuring cleanliness of the lounge area.
• Minimise food and beverage waste and complete opening/closing checklists.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel or fine‑dining restaurant.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Desirable knowledge of cocktails and food‑and‑beverage applications.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with flexibility.
• Effective team communication, integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Familiarity with food and beverage applications.
