About the role
As a Welder you will perform welding tasks on various components and structures of the dredger, including repair, maintenance and fabrication of new parts. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team to uphold high quality and safety standards on cutting‑edge dredging projects.
Key responsibilities
- Follow the Technical Services Department policies and procedures.
- Report work progress, performance issues and preventive maintenance needs to the charge hand or supervisor.
- Comply with HSE regulations and use required protective equipment.
- Provide technical information and spare‑part requirements to supervisors.
- Read and interpret technical drawings for fabrication work.
- Prepare material lists and submit detailed work reports.
Required profile
- Technical School Certificate or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Welding competency certificate.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
- STCW Basic Training certification.
Required skills
- Welding (various techniques).
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Structural and pipe fabrication.
