Welfare Assistant (female) – School Bus Monitor & Cleaner

About the role

The Aquila School is seeking a dedicated Welfare Assistant (female) to ensure the safety and well‑being of pupils during travel and within the school environment. This role combines bus supervision, behaviour guidance, and maintaining a clean, welcoming campus.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor school buses at the start and end of each day, ensuring children are safely transported to and from school.
• Promote positive pupil behaviour, acting as a role model and using the school’s reward system.
• Keep all school areas spotlessly clean and support facilities upkeep.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding school matters and student information.
• Track consumable stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the school or regional office to support daily operations.
• Report to the Facilities Manager and Welfare Supervisor.

• Strong communication skills in English.

What we offer

• Full‑time schedule: 9 hours Monday‑Friday plus 4 hours on Sunday.
• 30 working days paid leave (pro‑rated) with an annual leave year from September to August.
