Workshop Manager – PMV

About the role

Alas Emirates Services LLC is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager – PMV to lead workshop and maintenance operations in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role involves overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance of a diverse fleet of vehicles, machinery and concrete manufacturing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all PMV workshop and maintenance activities.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are properly implemented.
• Maintain high availability and reliability of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Manage workshop manpower, spare parts, tools, and maintenance resources.
• Monitor breakdowns, repairs, downtime, and maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE/OSH requirements and safe workshop practices.
• Develop supervisors and workshop personnel through training and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance efficiency, equipment reliability, and cost control.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in logistics, supply‑chain, construction or manufacturing.
• Strong experience in workshop, PMV, fleet and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Good understanding of concrete manufacturing operations and equipment.
• Knowledge of HSE/OSH and environmental requirements.
• Strong leadership, analytical, troubleshooting and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and team‑management abilities.
