2D MEP Coordination Draftsman (Sharjah)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled 2D MEP Coordination Draftsman to join our team in Sharjah. The role involves producing accurate 2‑D coordination drawings for high‑rise building projects and ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D MEP coordination drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, firefighting and other MEP services.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure proper MEP integration.
• Identify and resolve clashes and service conflicts between MEP disciplines.
• Produce plans, sections, elevations, layouts and detailed coordination drawings.
• Incorporate comments from consultants, engineers and site teams and revise drawings accordingly.
• Prepare shop drawings and as‑built drawings when required.
• Maintain drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations and revision control.
• Collaborate with MEP engineers, BIM/coordination teams, subcontractors and site personnel.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related MEP field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Coordination Draftsman, preferably on high‑rise or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and firefighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Experience with UAE/GCC projects is an advantage.
