Engineering Project Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Project Supervisor to lead high‑end fit‑out projects for Sofeyia Home in Dubai. The role involves overseeing the full installation process, ensuring compliance with Dubai fit‑out standards and maintaining safety and quality on site.

Key responsibilities

• Attend pre‑construction drawing reviews and technical briefings, alerting contractors to site discrepancies such as water levels, electrical points and access panels.
• Supervise on‑site quality control for turnkey projects including wardrobes, kitchens and stone countertops, enforcing contract specifications and rejecting substandard materials.
• Track weekly and monthly schedules, manpower and material usage, flag delays and drive subcontractor rectifications, providing detailed progress reports with photo/video records.
• Coordinate with contractors, client consultants, local subcontractors and MEP teams, chair site meetings to resolve interface conflicts and manage variations and change records.
• Organise sectional, pre‑handover and final handover processes, manage defect and rectification lists, and verify early‑warranty issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, conduct safety inspections and archive site records for headquarters in China.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in Construction Engineering, Interior Decoration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of on‑site supervision or project management experience in high‑end fit‑out, cabinetry, kitchen or countertop installation, preferably in Dubai or the Middle East.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD construction and fabrication drawings.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of UAE HSE standards and familiarity with Dubai fit‑out and FIDIC contracts.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve on‑site emergencies independently.
