A/C Technician

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic A/C Technician to join our maintenance team at Towers Rotana Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality service to guests while ensuring all air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and repair temperature and air‑quality control systems throughout the hotel.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical refrigeration equipment such as freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air‑conditioning, chill water and defrosting systems.
• Check and service door‑closing mechanisms, gaskets and latches on walk‑in coolers.
• Clean fan coil unit and air‑handling unit filters on a routine basis.
• Control CFC venting and ensure compliance with local technical regulations and safety standards.
• Overhaul refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment, monitor oil and refrigerant levels, and coordinate parts purchases with the storekeeper.
• Respond to maintenance requests from all hotel departments and collaborate with engineering colleagues to diagnose failures.

Required profile

• Diploma in refrigeration maintenance, building services engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in operating and maintaining hotel‑grade HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Strong command of English and ability to identify and rectify faults.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, adaptable and able to stay calm under pressure.
