Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager at IFF, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers in the fragrance industry, supporting sales growth and delivering sustainable solutions. Based in the Creative Center in Dubai, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand market needs and drive profitable relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Support knowledge building of market, customer environment, strategies, brands, and consumer trends.
• Drive sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying customer needs, opportunities, and risks.
• Build long‑term customer relationships, lead activities, and deliver solutions aligned with corporate strategy.
• Understand customer decision‑making criteria and regulatory requirements.
• Lead strategic commercial negotiations including pricing, payment terms, rebates, cost savings, and supply agreements.
• Communicate account plans and engage internal stakeholders.
• Manage reactive and proactive customer project pipelines such as country and consumer studies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the fragrance industry.
• Experience working with international, cross‑cultural, and cross‑functional teams.
• Open‑minded, agile, and courageous.
• Ability to deliver under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commercial mindset with bottom‑line orientation.
• Team player with strong influencing skills across all organizational levels.
