Accountant – Backend Operations

About the role

Choose UAE is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage backend financial operations in its Business Bay office. The role focuses on processing payments, maintaining accurate books and supporting the operations team, with occasional client‑administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier and vendor payments, confirm transactions and handle related financial operations.
• Record all transactions in cloud accounting software, ensuring up‑to‑date and error‑free ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements, review supporting documents and keep audit‑ready records.
• Prepare periodic summaries of payables, receivables and cash‑flow.
• Collaborate with operations and client‑handling teams to support backend finance needs.
• Assist with basic client‑related administrative work such as corporate tax registration.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial record‑keeping.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud accounting software (QuickBooks Online or similar).
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet monthly deadlines.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (or equivalent cloud accounting platform).
