About the role
We are a diversified main contractor seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The role supports the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial records for our construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and basic financial reports.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial documentation.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
Required profile
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA).
- 6–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the civil or MEP contracting industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Good communication skills in English and a professional attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Competence in MS Office applications.
