Accountant – Dubai

About the role

Cosmo Code Cosmetics Trading LLC is seeking a reliable and experienced Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial activities in its Dubai office. The role requires strong proficiency in Zoho Books, solid knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records independently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company’s accounting activities using Zoho Books.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and record daily financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, issue invoices, credit notes, receipts and payment records.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and manage petty cash and expense records.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on receivables.
• Track supplier invoices, payment schedules and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management.
• Handle UAE VAT calculations, documentation and filing.
• Assist with UAE Corporate Tax accounting and documentation.
• Prepare accounting reports and supporting documents for auditors, banks and government authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for accounting records.
