Accountant – Finance & Advisory (Dubai)

About the role

Diraya Consultants LLC is seeking an Accountant to join its finance and advisory team in Dubai. The role focuses on managing client accounts, supporting VAT and corporate tax compliance, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements for a portfolio of business advisory clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger books, daily vouchers, and accurate accounts payable/receivable entries.
• Perform routine bank reconciliations, vendor statement checks, and monthly ledger balancing using Tally.
• Prepare management information system (MIS) reports, financial summaries, and year‑end trial balances.
• Support the calculation and documentation for UAE VAT returns and corporate tax filings.
• Organise audit documentation, verify transaction vouchers, and assist external auditors.
• Interact directly with client representatives to collect source documents and resolve accounting queries.

Required profile

• Semi‑qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional designation.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a UAE accounting, audit, or tax consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Excellent client communication and multi‑client account management abilities.

Required skills

• High‑level proficiency in Tally accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
