Accountant – Finance Team (Dubai Industrial City)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Accountant to join the Finance Team of a leading food manufacturing company in Dubai Industrial City. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month‑end and year‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks such as journal entries, ledger maintenance, and data entry in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury to ensure timely transaction processing.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, including monthly MIS, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and income‑statement schedules.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring proper documentation and adjustments.
• Assist internal and external auditors by providing required financial data and documentation.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve payment and invoice queries.
• Participate in finance and accounting projects aimed at process improvement or automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of financial processes.
• Familiarity with UAE accounting standards is a plus.
• UAE driving licence or willingness to relocate near Dubai Industrial City.
