Senior Manager – Operational & Financial Audit

About the role

The Operational/Financial Audit Manager will lead audit planning, execution and reporting to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with Al-Futtaim’s policies. The role oversees a team of auditors, drives continuous improvement of audit processes and supports governance across financial, operational and IT domains.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor audit activities, applying the organisation’s methodology and risk‑based approach.
• Supervise audit engagements, ensure scope adequacy, quality standards and timely delivery.
• Present findings, recommend root‑cause solutions and follow up on implementation.
• Support internal audit standards (IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, IPPF) and quality assurance programs.
• Leverage data analytics and AI tools (Advanced Excel, Power BI) to extend audit coverage and improve effectiveness.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of operational and financial audit experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Internal audit exposure within the automotive sector.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in audit methodologies and risk management.
• Advanced data analysis using AI‑enabled tools.
• Experience with SAP S4 Hana (or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Excel and Power BI for analytics testing.
