Accountant – Full‑time, Abu Dhabi

About the role

Square Aluminum is seeking an Accountant to manage daily accounting activities and ensure financial compliance within its Abu Dhabi manufacturing and fabrication operations. The role involves handling the general ledger, processing invoices, and supporting VAT filings in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting workflows, including general ledger entries and invoice processing.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and client aging.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly financial summaries, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, calculate taxes, file returns, and maintain records.
• Support audit activities, budgeting processes, and cost‑control initiatives for fabrication operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA/ACCA qualification is an advantage.
• Proven full‑charge accounting experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, aluminum fabrication or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Experience with accounting ERP platforms and advanced Excel functions.
