About the role

Fortes Education is seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage end‑to‑end accounting functions and support financial operations in its Dubai office. The role involves handling revenue recognition, invoicing, fixed‑asset accounting, and contributing to month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• End to End Accounting
• Revenue Recognition
• Invoicing & Cash Application
• Accounting for Fixed Assets & Depreciation
• Expense Booking, Provision & Accruals
• Accounting for Leases
• Processing Employee & Vendor Payments
• Related Party Accounting
• Reconciliations
• Prepare Financial Statements and supporting schedules according to month‑close schedule
• Management Reporting & Analysis
• Preparation of Annual Budgets
• Preparation of Audit Schedules and catering to all audit requirements
• Coordinating for ERP Implementation

Required profile

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification (preferred)
• 4‑6 years relevant accounting experience
• Male applicants only
• Experience in the education industry preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team‑player attitude with a focus on documenting workflows
