About the role

Join 1inch, a fast‑growing DeFi ecosystem, as an Accountant responsible for day‑to‑day bookkeeping and the month‑end close across the group’s entities. Your work will ensure accurate financial data for the Finance team and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end month‑end close process and deliver on schedule.
• Record daily accounting entries, perform bank, payroll, inter‑company and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and post accruals, pre‑payments, rental revenue journals and maintain the Group Asset File.
• Process supplier invoices through Dext, manage accounts payable, monitor receivable collections and execute payments.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns, support tax filings and ensure UAE VAT compliance.
• Update ApprovalMax for vendor, budget or approval changes.
• Produce management accounts and transaction records in line with IFRS and internal policies.
• Assist external auditors, provide data for MFR slides, expense reporting, payroll inputs and drive automation or process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of accounting experience in an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong background in reconciliations, balance‑sheet and profit‑and‑loss reporting, and double‑entry accounting.
• Proficiency with accounting tools such as Xero, SAP or similar, and advanced Excel skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast‑moving fintech setting.
