Accountant – Odoo & VAT Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our UAE team. The role focuses on managing financial records, VAT and corporate tax filings, and supporting HR‑related financial processes using Odoo and QuickBooks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Odoo software for all accounting operations.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Generate financial statements in line with IFRS standards and conduct budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee inventory stock control and vehicle documentation management.
• Coordinate with PRO for trade licenses, tenancy contracts, and employee renewals.
• Process payroll through Odoo, execute WPS transactions, and handle other HR‑related financial tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Odoo.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
