Accountant & Operations Executive

About the role

Powder Beauty is an ecommerce and wellness platform operating across the GCC. The role combines wholesale account management, order processing and bookkeeping to support both finance and operations functions.

Key responsibilities

• Process B2B customer orders end‑to‑end, from purchase order through invoicing to delivery confirmation, and act as the day‑to‑day point of contact for retail and distribution accounts.
• Reconcile consignment accounts, organise samples, testers and POS materials, and maintain accurate account records, pricing sheets and trading terms.
• Reconcile system stock with physical inventory, monitor partner stock levels, and maintain the master inventory file including freight, customs and duty allocations.
• Maintain QuickBooks books (sales, purchases, payments, bank reconciliations), manage AP/AR, prepare inventory costing, monthly management accounts, VAT workings and support year‑end audit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, ACCA or CMA qualification is a plus.
• At least two years of combined accounting and order‑processing experience, preferably in ecommerce, retail, FMCG or distribution.
• Solid bookkeeping to trial balance, hands‑on inventory and cost‑of‑goods‑sold experience, and working knowledge of UAE VAT.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable chasing internal and external stakeholders.
