Accountant – Payroll

About the role

Ali & Sons Holding LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant – Payroll to manage payroll accounting across multiple locations and entities in the UAE. The role ensures accurate, compliant employee payments and supports finance and HR teams.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll in line with UAE Labour Law and company policies.
• Prepare and submit WPS files through authorized banks and coordinate salary payments.
• Handle payroll accounting tasks such as journal entries, GL postings, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
• Validate payroll elements, deductions, commissions, leave salary and end‑of‑service benefits.
• Maintain confidential payroll records, contracts and amendments.
• Provide documentation for ICV, internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll issues and ensure accurate employee cost accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll/accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and WPS requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
