Accountant – Single Family Office

About the role

Our client, a Dubai‑based single family office, is looking for an experienced Accountant to own the full finance function across a multi‑entity structure. Reporting directly to the Family Office Director, you will manage the complete accounting cycle in a lean, maker‑checker environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record all transactions, maintain the general ledger and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, consolidated reports and management dashboards.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, track rental income, dividends and other receivables.
• Monitor liquidity, forecast cash flow and manage FX exposure on multi‑currency positions.
• Prepare annual budgets, run variance analysis and ensure timely VAT, corporate tax and regulatory filings.
• Process payroll via WPS, calculate end‑of‑service gratuity and manage DEWS contributions.
• Track investment performance, capital calls, distributions and maintain investment schedules.
• Manage insurance policy renewals, claims and maintain all financial and corporate documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a family office, holding company or SME group.
• Strong cash‑flow management, forecasting and cost‑control capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience with corporate banking portals (e.g., ADCB ProCash) within a maker‑checker workflow.
• Residency in Dubai and ability to work on‑site with absolute discretion.

Required skills

• Zoho Books / Zoho Payroll (or comparable ERP).
• Advanced Excel reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and WPS regulations.
• Experience using ADCB ProCash or similar banking platforms.
