Accountant / Audit Associate

About the role

Elysian Consulting Group is seeking a skilled Accountant / Audit Associate to join its team at Burjuman Business Tower in Dubai. The role provides accounting, financial reporting and audit services to a portfolio of UAE mainland and free‑zone clients across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS‑compliant financial statements and structured audit working papers for mainland and free‑zone entities.
• Calculate UAE corporate tax obligations and prepare, review and file periodic VAT returns.
• Conduct field audits at client sites across the UAE, verifying financial records and supporting documentation.
• Maintain complete client accounting ledgers and perform reconciliations using specialized financial software.

Required profile

• CA Intermediate, ACCA or CMA qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or audit experience, preferably within the UAE business environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Zoho Books, Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE corporate tax framework and VAT compliance procedures.
