Accountant – UAE VAT & Financial Operations

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of both a meal‑planning business and a construction contracting firm in Dubai. The role focuses on UAE VAT compliance, financial reporting, and day‑to‑day accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns through the FTA portal.
• Maintain accurate financial records for both entities.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including bank reconciliations.
• Produce monthly financial reports and monitor expenses.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and coordinate with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Current residence in Dubai.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Basic knowledge of PRO processes and payroll processing.
• Experience in construction or F&B sectors is an advantage.

Required skills

• Full VAT filing and FTA reporting.
• Input/Output VAT reconciliation.
• Proficiency with Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks (any UAE‑used system).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Understanding of UAE accounting standards.

What we offer

• Salary: AED 3,000 per month.
• Employment visa, health insurance, and accommodation.
• Working hours: Saturday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Friday off).
